Job description
Role PurposeAct as Product Owner for the Integrations team at Dynamic PlannerResponsible for managing technical relations with Dynamic Planner’s partners – both partners whose systems are integrated with the Dynamic Planner’s services and the software delivery partners who implement those integrations.Advise potential and existing partners on possible solutions to their requirements and provide a technical point of contact providing domain knowledge and assistance with problem solving.Work with the Product, Sales, and Implementation team to understand client demand and improve the Dynamic Planner functionality made available to partners and the way it is provided.Provide responsive support to other areas of the company as they deal with customers’ technical questions.Ensure integrations to and from Dynamic Planner continue to operate smoothly by anticipating issues (through good partner relations) and investigating issues if they do arise (through monitoring and working with the implementation team).Key DeliverablesWell curated backlog.Well written user stories.Best possible new Dynamic Planner product features or integrations .Technical documentation for 3 rd party integrators to Dynamic PlannerEnergised and supportive sprint teams.Energised and supportive stakeholders.Key StakeholdersHead of ProductSolutions ConsultantsScrum MastersScrum teamSales teamClient SuccessClientsMarketingSkillsExcellent customer and partner facing soft skills.Strong technical background, preferably working at a detailed level on systems integrations.Experience of managing technical relationships.Skilled communicator with clear and concise written ability.Excellent personal time management.Strong influencing skills.KnowlegeDetailed and practical understanding of integration patterns covering security, data transformation, data correlation, monitoring, and alerting.Strong understanding of APIs, batch processes and other integration techniques.Good awareness of the financial services domain.Practical experience of software development processes and writing code.AttributesLateral thinker.Attention to detail and methodical.Ability to work with little supervision.Adaptable and personal willingness to be flexible when situation demands.Humility.Qualifications and ExperienceDegree qualified or equivalent.Five years of relevant commercial experience.Define the product backlog and create actionable user stories with the sprint teams.Use customer feedback to inform thinking on the backlog.Groom and prioritise the work in the backlog according to business value.Help ensure that the scrum team always has an adequate amount of well-prepared user stories to work on.Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of sprint goals.Review and accept the completed user stories, making sure the work fulfils the acceptance criteria.Develop a solid understanding of our users, our products, the market place, the competition and future trends.Drive analysis, scoping and design for new integrationsHealth & WellbeingSimplyhealth; AXA (Management) Healthcare; Employee Assistance Programme (& much more!)Financial & RetirementDiscretionary annual bonus; Company pension scheme; Life Assurance (& much more!)Discounts & PerksBenefit Hub; Cycle to work; Give as you earn (& much more!)Leave25 days per year; Anniversary holiday increase; Company sickness (& much more!)Recognition & other rewardsTeam events; Quarterly treats; Recommend a friend scheme (& much more!)
