Role: Product Marketing Manager, Hardware
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Fumbally Square Fumbally Lane, 10070, DublinDrive go-to-market strategies for Hardware products across Ireland, France, and Spain, including but not limited to:
Conduct ongoing primary and secondary research on the market landscape and trends, and Square’s competitors.
Refine GTM strategy for hardware including customer segmentation, competitive positioning, messaging, distribution channels, packaging, etc.
Oversee development of creative and copy for hardware marketing assets.
Jointly own any pricing changes with Product PMM and Finance.
Partner with packaging team on any packaging changes to ensure consistency in product messaging and appropriate localization for your markets.
Execute Hardware launches including briefing and coordination of launch teams and cross-functional partners to deliver required work for launch on time and at a high level of quality.
Understand and optimize for EU business impact through hardware.
Be responsible for tracking and reporting out on Hardware KPIs, measuring performance, and identifying optimization opportunities.
Partner with the Supply and Demand teams on Hardware forecasts across products.
Have a clear view of the top needle-moving request for each Hardware product in your markets, the general customer sentiment towards the products, competitive options and relative positioning and purchase criteria.
Act as the Hardware representative/advocate for all marketing and customer-facing activities/questions (e.g. internal training on new product launches; product troubleshooting support; quantifying/prioritizing requests from customer-facing teams and relaying to product teams)Skills:
Required: fluency in English. Proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.
5+ years professional experience in strategy consulting, product management, product marketing or growth.
Competency in designing go-to-market strategies and growth strategies.
Strong analytical ability, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Comfort in a fast-paced environment, and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Genuine interest in and curiosity in helping small businesses succeed.
Prior experience in fintech, payments, and marketing to small businesses is a plus.Education:
A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
