This is a permanent role that can be based in Dublin or Galway.Responsibilities
- Define and implement procurement and supply chain policy, aligned with company guidelines.
- Implement and optimise the procurement processes to deliver supplier goods and services to the business in line with the overall Procurement Strategy and agreed targets for cost / supply chain and service quality enhancements.
- Manage the procurement organisation: ensure the recruitment, management, organization, support, assessment, and training of teams.
- Consult with financial management to form a budget that contains funding for desired operations.
- Build a relationship with the Group Procurement network aiming at developing synergies.
- Define and implement the procurement and sourcing strategies of the company
- Ensure the effective negotiation and implementation of robust contractual arrangements with strategic suppliers.
Have you:
- A bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business related field, or Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent negotiating skills, dealing with contracts of varying values and complexities, and managing supplier Service Level Agreements.
- Impeccable time-management and organisational skills.
- Experience in Export & Logistics, road maintenance or construction is highly desirable.
