Operate within a dynamic engineering change environment, supporting New Product Introductions and engineering design changes to ensure optimal outcomes in part design, manufacturing technology, and supplier selection.
Advocate for supplier innovation and incorporate Design for Manufacturing & Assembly principles into product designs through Early Supplier Involvement.
Lead Request for Quotation processes to identify cost-effective solutions, ensuring the selection of suppliers with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership while meeting target cost objectives and aligning with commodity strategies.
Drive supplier changes to mitigate risks, reduce costs, enhance performance, and optimize global part and supplier sourcing strategies.
Have you:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline (QQI Level 8). Candidates with degrees in Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain will also be considered if they possess extensive relevant technical experience.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Procurement or Technical role, ideally within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment; manufacturing engineering experience is an added advantage.
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to evaluate, negotiate, and finalize business agreements with suppliers.
