- Operate within a dynamic engineering change environment, supporting New Product Introductions and engineering design changes to ensure optimal outcomes in part design, manufacturing technology, and supplier selection.
- Advocate for supplier innovation and incorporate Design for Manufacturing & Assembly principles into product designs through Early Supplier Involvement.
- Lead Request for Quotation processes to identify cost-effective solutions, ensuring the selection of suppliers with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership while meeting target cost objectives and aligning with commodity strategies.
- Drive supplier changes to mitigate risks, reduce costs, enhance performance, and optimize global part and supplier sourcing strategies.
Have you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline (QQI Level 8). Candidates with degrees in Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain will also be considered if they possess extensive relevant technical experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Procurement or Technical role, ideally within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment; manufacturing engineering experience is an added advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to evaluate, negotiate, and finalize business agreements with suppliers.
