• Oversee key strategic categories, particularly Chemicals, Packaging, Fleet, and Telecoms, ensuring they align with the company’s objectives.
• Create and execute category strategies that deliver value and cost savings from initiation through to contract completion, in line with business requirements.
• Cultivate robust relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to establish a solid foundation for implementing procurement initiatives and processes.
• Work closely with Procurement leadership and senior management to ensure alignment on strategies and critical decisions.
• Provide monthly reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) that highlight continuous improvement and achievements across all strategic categories.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and demonstrate expertise in all procurement activities.
• Prepare and lead the development of annual and long-term category strategy plans that outline how key categories will contribute to the company’s goals.
• Evaluate national sourcing requirements (where applicable) and drive performance in decentralized business units in Ireland.
• Champion the company’s sustainability agenda in alignment with the business’s decarbonization roadmap.

Have you:

• 5+ years procurement experience
• Educated to a degree in Business or Technical or other relevant experience
• Relevant system experience, preferably Aribia
• This role does require travel between sites in Dublin, Louth and Belfast.
