Arup are looking for an energetic senior electrical engineer to join their Edinburgh team. The Edinburgh team are currently involved in the delivery of a number of local, national and international projects that include major infrastructure, renewables, healthcare, commercial, science and industrial projects.It is expected that the candidate will be responsible for leading electrical design on our projects and contribute to the management of the electrical team. This will cover the management of delivery, the quality of deliverables and the development of a talented and accomplished electrical team comprising engineers and electrical graduates to ensure they achieve their full potential.At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. - Is a chartered Engineer and holds a degree in electrical engineering or other relevant subject.
- Possess a strong background in electrical building services engineering design.
- Is proficient in the use of Trimble (Amtech), Dialux and/or other electrical design software and familiar with BIM processes using Revit, Revitzo or other recognised industry platforms.
- Has experience in designing from first principles as well as the design of HV, LV, Lighting and lighting controls, Fire Alarms, Security/Access control, electrical design for renewable energy systems and earthing across a range of project types.
