Permanent Part-time Post (0.5 FTE)

Applications are invited for an experienced and enthusiastic SLT to the post of Practice Education Coordinator at UCC. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing and developing clinical placements and tutoring students on the 4-year BSc(Hons) Speech and Language Therapy. As well as being an experienced SLT, the appointee will have an interest in teaching and research and experience in supervising students. The successful candidate will have a clinical qualification in SLT and be CORU registered.

The BSc SLT is located in the School of Clinical Therapies. School offers a range of clinical programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as research degrees (MSc and PhD). In addition, the School has a growing suite of Continuing Professional Development modules supporting life-long learning.

Appointment may be made on the HSE Senior SLT Salary Scale: €60,816 – €71,609.

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
