Job Description :Paralegal Position at the Radisson Hotel Group Head Quarters

• The primary focus of the role will be legal support of corporate, operational and business development functions in Europe reporting to Director Legal, based in Dubai (Director).
• The function will also include providing assistance with company compliance matters and the drafting of letters, contract amendments and, further on, contracts.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Drafting of Powers of attorney.

• Preparation of execution copies and updating templates

• Preparing first draft of contracts based on templates and agreed commercial terms

• Housekeeping functions

• Support compliance function

• Assist in obtaining signatures of company directors on documents as and when needed, and support in getting documents legalised.

• Take the lead in dealing with external counsels hired in various jurisdictions and help clear invoices.

• Take the lead in coordinating with finance department in chasing and following up on outstanding debts and preparing drafts of legal notices depending on the approach taken

• Distribute signed contracts to the relevant stakeholders

• Take the lead in setting up, maintaining and updating the contract management system including the original document filing system to help legal team in its support of the operations function.

• Additional support may be required based on the company’s needs

Competencies & skills requirements:

• Fluency in English language
• Knowledge of another language/s (French, Dutch) is an asset
• Ability to function independently and work well in team
• Ability to take the lead in independently managing the tasks and coordinate with other departments
