Our impressive Otisline is a 24/7 response center that provides OTIS support across Australasia. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative in our Sydney CBD office. This role reports to the Manager, Customer Service (Otisline).

About You

You will be responsible for taking inbound calls from our clients and effectively dispatching the customers’ requests to our service technicians. Your role will also include various administration tasks.

  • Monday to Friday

  • 11 am – 7 pm

  • Fixed term – 12 months contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient receipt, handling, and dispatching of customer calls and inquiries.

  • Monitor and coordinate service calls to Elevators, Escalators and Travelators registering fault conditions.

  • Enter and maintain all data received from service calls and field technicians into a web-based application.

  • Liaise with Field Management to expedite service calls or when a customer is trapped in Otis-maintained equipment.

  • You will communicate frequently with building owners/supervisors, members of the public, the Service Operations Manager, State Operations staff, and all members of the Otisline team.

What you will need to be successful

  • Excellent customer service skills and good telephone manners

  • Experience in emergency response procedures (desired)

  • Good knowledge of using technology, including mobile applications and computer-based reporting systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet, database management).

  • Self-motivated and able to operate with minimal supervision.

  • Good attention to detail and results-driven.

  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-paced call center environment.

  • Have a flexible, friendly attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
