The Finance department based in the Cork Campus supports all functions of Apple in EMEIA, including the European Sales Fulfilment, AppleCare after-sales services, European Logistics, Manufacturing & Operations, Apple Media Products, Apple Retail as well as being the Shared Services Centre for EMEIA. Engineering & Operations Finance partners with the Engineering, Operations, and AppleCare teams to optimize the world’s most innovative supply chain and provide the best possible customer experience. Intricately connected with their business partners, Engineering & Operations Finance provides analysis for insightful decision making. The team is located in five major global sites: Cupertino, Austin, Shanghai, Singapore, and Cork. This role is in the Operations Finance team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain & Logistics Finance Manager. Each Analyst as part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Finance team is primarily responsible for the management of costs within a specified business area. It interfaces directly with the key Operations functions, which includes Logistics, Supply Demand Planning, Reseller Operations, Retail Fulfilment Operations, BPR and other support functions. This role will specifically partner and support the Outbound Logistics and associated supply chain impacts whole interacting with other areas of the business as required. There are 5 members working in the Supply Chain Finance team with varied finance and accounting qualifications. Each team member actively engages with and supports key business partners within the local business teams to provide analytical & decision-making support, as well as being responsible for quarter end close & forecasting activities within their function. You will have phenomenal exposure to not only the Operations Finance team but also the wider Apple organization. Actively work with the business to find opportunities for cost reduction and roptimisation opportunities & track these through to collection of savings. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with execs. Partner locally with the other members of the EMEIA Operations Finance teams to develop an understanding of the overall business, drive reporting efficiencies & provide key inputs to Operations Business reviews. Partner cross-regionally with peers and seniors finance managers in AMR/APAC regions to develop and implement WW initiatives. Provide ad-hoc support to the EMEIA Operations Finance management team. Deliver exceptional support to Business Partners for the EMEIA region and WW, continually seeking new areas of responsibility.Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

  • Part-Qualified Accountant with significant relevant experience also considered
