Aon’s Commercial Risk solutions in the insurance sector focus on providing tailored risk management strategies, insurance brokerage services, and innovative risk transfer options.What the day will look likeThe Operations Analyst will work within a diverse Operations Team to support clients, members and colleagues across our Commercial Risk business in Risk Capital.Main responsibilities will include:

  • Working within an existing team to deliver services to both internal and external customers.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives utilizing latest technology.
  • Working with large data sets within Excel and other systems.
  • Delivering high quality reports related to operational activities.
  • Documentation / process mapping of processes and procedures.
  • Ad hoc work as required in the role to include participation in projects and initiatives.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience in a fast-paced office or in a professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to collate and share information effectively.
  • Proven ability in taking own initiative and positive adaptability to a changing environment.
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Business, Financial services or equivalent fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with high volume data.
  • Strong problem solving and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to establish and build effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Encouraging and developing a cohesive and engaging team environment, working towards delivering common goals and business results.
