YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • The demonstrated ability to lead and support a team

  • The drive and passion to provide outstanding customer service

  • The ability to act as a true brand ambassador as you train the team to deliver the highest quality of service

  • Strong business awareness and a working understanding of hotel operations

  • First aid and RSA certification , or be willing to obtain

  • Experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Having a Food & Beverage background is advantageous.

  • A working knowledge of PMS Merlin or similar advantageous

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Leading the Resort team to provide exceptional customer service with all resort operations, including conference and event execution.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations in line with budget guidelines

  • Complete daily and monthly reports as required

  • Proactively work towards increasing guest satisfaction scores, revenue and employee engagement

  • Play an active role in on boarding, training and development of Resort colleagues

  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of guests and colleagues acting as the emergency warden

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the resort with the GM , including front office, housekeeping, conferences and events, food and beverage, maintenance, and other relevant departments.

  • Revenue management with the central revenue team and GM.

  • Maintain and enhance operational standards to exceed guest expectations.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize operational efficiency and productivity.

  • Collaborate with department heads to establish and maintain effective communication channels, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment and workplace culture.

  • Mentoring and coaching staff to enhance skills and maintain high service.

  • Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction, promptly engaging in service recovery.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.

  • Ambassador of unique experiences for guest and staff.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • Experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Having a Rooms division background is advantageous.

  • A eagerness to grow personally and professionally.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with guests, staff, and senior management.

  • Sound knowledge of hotel operations, including revenue management, front office, housekeeping, conferences and events, food and beverage, and maintenance.

  • Familiarity with property management systems and other relevant software.

  • Ability to make strategic decisions and problem-solve effectively, even in high-pressure situations.

  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
