Title: O&M Manager
Location: Ireland, Dublin
Start: Asap
Salary: 75-90k + bonusKey Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for the operations and maintenance services across all locations.
  • Represent the company on-site during key contractor services.
  • Efficiently manage maintenance contracts, aiming to minimize costs and enhance revenue.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Define and manage spare parts requirements for cables and associated accessories for projects.
  • Ensure design, installation, testing, and documentation meet regulatory and quality standards.
  • Analyze and validate contractor-provided information.
  • Offer technical knowledge to support decision-making processes.
  • Oversee and direct staff, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with local safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Supervise daily facility operations, adhering to established practices and asset management systems.
  • Serve as the technical lead and main point of contact for all operational sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in solar operations and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in managing contractors.
  • Familiarity with HV & MV substations, transformer centers, solar modules, and inverters at a utility scale.
  • Deep understanding of solar and battery storage technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Multi-skilled in electro-mechanical systems with hands-on experience.
  • Proficient in data logging and communication systems.
  • Experience in LV & HV fault-finding and analysis.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues.
  • Knowledge of balance of plant in solar farms.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders in asset operations and maintenance, with the ability to adapt your style to achieve results.
