Title: O&M Manager

Salary: 75-90k + bonusKey Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the operations and maintenance services across all locations.
- Represent the company on-site during key contractor services.
- Efficiently manage maintenance contracts, aiming to minimize costs and enhance revenue.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Define and manage spare parts requirements for cables and associated accessories for projects.
- Ensure design, installation, testing, and documentation meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Analyze and validate contractor-provided information.
- Offer technical knowledge to support decision-making processes.
- Oversee and direct staff, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with local safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Supervise daily facility operations, adhering to established practices and asset management systems.
- Serve as the technical lead and main point of contact for all operational sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of experience in solar operations and maintenance.
- Proven experience in managing contractors.
- Familiarity with HV & MV substations, transformer centers, solar modules, and inverters at a utility scale.
- Deep understanding of solar and battery storage technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
- Multi-skilled in electro-mechanical systems with hands-on experience.
- Proficient in data logging and communication systems.
- Experience in LV & HV fault-finding and analysis.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues.
- Knowledge of balance of plant in solar farms.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders in asset operations and maintenance, with the ability to adapt your style to achieve results.
