About the Role:
BRAC International (BI)- Philippines is seeking a Officer – Communication and Resource Mobilization in Philippines who is aligned with it’s ethos of working in partnership with communities to create impact for scale. The Officer – Communication and Resource Mobilization will play a key role in crafting compelling narratives and proposals that articulate the organization’s mission, goals, and impact. This position requires a skilled communicator who can develop clear, persuasive, and well-structured content for various audiences, including donors, partners, and the public. The officer will also be responsible for supporting the organization’s communication strategies, ensuring consistency in messaging, and maintaining a strong brand presence across all platforms.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Main Responsibilities (90%)
1. Proposal Development:
- Support the writing and editing of high-quality proposals and concept notes for donors, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and donor requirements.
- Collaborate with Resource Mobilization Manager, GRP and BI and program teams to gather relevant information and data needed for proposal development.
- Coordinate the proposal development process, including timelines, task assignments, and submission deadlines.
- Support for the research and identify potential funding opportunities and assist in the development of funding strategies.
2. Communication and Content Creation:
- Develop and execute communication plans to support program objectives and enhance the organization’s visibility.
- Write, edit, and proofread content for various communication materials, including newsletters, reports, press releases, social media posts, and website content.
- Ensure that all written materials reflect the BRAC organization’s tone, style, and messaging guidelines.
- Coordinate and collaborate with program team, BI and create compelling case studies, success stories, and impact reports to showcase the organization’s achievements.
3. Brand Management:
- Maintain consistency in the organization’s messaging and branding across all communication platforms.
- Support the development and design of visual materials (e.g., brochures, infographics, factsheet) in coordination with the BI communication team.
- Ensure that all communications comply with the organization’s branding guidelines and donor requirements.
4. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support the development of communication strategies for engaging key stakeholders, including donors and partners.
- Liaise with external partners, donors, and stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication.
- Assist in organizing events, workshops, and other activities to promote the organization’s mission and work.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular progress reports on communication and proposal writing activities for Country, BI management and donors.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of proposals, reports, and other communication materials.
- Document best practices and lessons learned in proposal development and communications for future reference.
B. Others (10%)
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Experience Requirements:
-At least (3) years experience on field related job
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal writing, grant writing, or a related role within an NGO, development agency, or similar organization. Proven experience in developing communication strategies and creating content for diverse audiences. Strong understanding of donor requirements and experience working with international donors (e.g., USAID, UN, EU).
