This covers a mix of Perth city and rural geography.The post holder will provide occupational therapy interventions to enable and support people to achieve their best possible personal outcomes within their homes and communities.We are looking for a person with a genuine interest in mental health and wellbeing and a commitment to promoting the value of occupational therapy. We use occupation as the foundation of our work in collaboration with people as a basis for bringing value and purpose to their lives. This may involve the use of specialist assessment, current evidence based treatments, or techniques to support decision making, goal achievement, empowerment through independence, supported self-management and recovery where possible.Our Service provides excellent formal and informal supervision, actively supports individual development through performance development review and learning plans, provides a framework for encouraging CPD and promotes innovative practice.Please apply if you –

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
