Duties of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Working in an early intervention in Psychosis team for people aged 14 to 65 years old.
  • MDT competing assessments, covering duty, holding a small caseload of service users. Competing care plan’s risk assessments, (managing risk) and documentation related to supporting the service user. Providing evidence based interventions.
  • Attending ward reviews / supporting the team with additional tasks that come in on a day to day basis. Joining handovers and MDT meetings.
  • Giving depot injections / ordering medication.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience
  • Registered with the HCPC
