The internal Occupational Health team deliver their services through a managed service provider and the role of the Occupational Health Manager is the key interface role between Diageo and the 3rd provider ensuring success and a productive relationship for Diageo.Function:The Occupational Health & Wellbeing (OHW) team are part of the Global Supply Chain and Procurement Human Resources function. The internal OH function comprises a small in-house team who work with our 3rd party providers to deliver the Occupational Health Strategy. We know that being in an optimum state of health benefits each of us; therefore, we aim to have happy, healthy employees who celebrate life every day, everywhere.About The Role:Support Responsibilities:Review OH Management referral reports as required.Oversee health and safety compliance for health surveillance/health assessment programmes.Lead procurement efforts for OH provider tender processes.Formulate annual health surveillance/assessment plans with OH providers.Operational Duties:Act as main contact point between Diageo sites/functions and OH suppliers.Monitor health surveillance schedules/reports.Manage day-to-day OH operations resolving first-line issues.Collaborative Efforts:Build strong relationships with internal collaborators (HRBPs/Legal/ER/Leaders).Provide expert OH advice on investigations, case management queries etc.Educational Initiatives:Deliver coaching sessions to upskill partners/customers.Performance Monitoring:Ensure compliance with KPIs/SLAs by reviewing supplier performance reports.Innovation:Identify new operating methods working closely with suppliers.Team Leadership:Lead the team members through regular meetings, mentoring etc.Administrative Duties:Oversee internal occupational health web pages including learning hub information ensuring they are up-to-date.Manage joiners’, movers’, leavers’ information accuracy for third-party service providers.Experience Required / Skills / Capabilities / Languages:Functional Skills:Experienced Senior Occupational Health Nurse registered on Part 1&3 of NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) professional registerSupplier Management ExperienceProcurement/project/team management experienceBold decision-making ensuring project execution within agreed timelinesExcellent communication skills building relationships with key collaboratorsProficient in Microsoft Office particularly ExcelDiversity statement:Celebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo’s purpose of “celebrating life every day everywhere”.
