About this vacancyThe Senior Firmware Engineer will be part of a multi-functional design environment with individual responsibility in the following areas:

• Enhance and modify existing firmware to align with marketing requirements.
• Develop and test embedded software using an Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
• Adhere to project development and product evolution tools and processes effectively.
• Conduct firmware design reviews with peers to ensure quality and project maturity.
• Maintain and support the codebase post-product release, including customer support.
• Collaborate with the QA team to define, document, analyze, and interpret developmental tests for new or modified products.
• Work with third-party certification agencies, such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
• Research and develop firmware and hardware combinations for new designs, potentially leading to patentable solutions.

What we expect from you· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or software engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering field.· Master’s or PhD degree or candidate is a plus.· +5 years of experience working in new software development, and embedded firmware design implementation.· Experience with Embedded Linux application engineering is required.· Experience in our core Development languages such as C, C++, Phyton and Rust.· Experience in digital signal processing and use of Fourier transforms and digital filtering.· Experience writing and debugging Linux Kernel.· Experience with custom network protocols to integrate with NDI/AYLA networks.What you can expect from usOn top of giving, you all the advantages of working in a start-up environment, at TMC USA you will benefit from the support of a strong well established international company:
