The RoleCarroll Cuisine of Tullamore, part of the Sofina Group is recruiting for a NPD Manager to work and assist with the introduction of new product lines, product improvements and process improvements. To help deliver on cost saving and efficiency projects throughout processing and production.AutoReqId3712BRCompanySofina FoodsHours of WorkFull timeKey Accountabilities

• Conduct product tastings and collate results to allow for informed decision making
• Support the team to co-ordinate line trials, pre-production trials and first production runs.
• To work with the team to develop new innovative food products & processes from concept through to launch.
• Support the business in meeting launch dates and targets in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in writing product specifications and work instructions for new product launches.
• To provide support to the sales, buying & marketing teams.
• To contribute to the identification of new ideas.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to oversee production processes.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to product development.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of product development processes and principles.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality products
• Managerial experience
• Experience in a FMCG industry
• Graduated with a degree in a relevant academic qualification i.e. Food Science, Product Development.
