This includes landlord services and estate management, planning, refurbishment, and advice and support to help maintain healthy and safe homes.A significant part of our work is focused on creating stronger communities, by working together with local residents on recovery following the Grenfell tragedy.In response to London’s affordable homes crisis, we are committed to building more social housing to help people on lower incomes to live, work, and raise their families in the borough. Our housing team also work closely with affordable housing providers and other agencies to manage homelessness and give support to older residents to live independently.The Role:The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) is changing the way we deliver our Housing Management service. We seek a dynamic and customer focused Neighbourhood Services Co-Ordinator who will embrace new ways of working.This is an exciting opportunity for a talented housing professional who is committed to putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.The right candidate for the role will have excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high quality services to our residents.You will take ownership for a patch of properties and ensure that tenancy, anti-social behaviour and enforcement matters, estate inspections and lettings are proactively managed.Please refer to the for more information.About You:Demonstrable experience in all areas of Housing Management .Able to build effective partnerships with relevant agencies such as social services, mental health, community safety.Previous experience of working in a local authority or a housing association.A good understanding of local authorities’ obligations and working with local Councillors and MPs.Role Requirements:With a strong background in housing management, you will take ownership of your patch and you will work in partnership with residents to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.Please apply online explaining how you meet the requirements set out in the person specification and job description.
