Take the reins as our Mobile Tech Lead. You’ll steer the technical direction of our Mobile Platform Squad – a dynamic team at the heart of our mobile app responsible for its performance, tooling and providing the building blocks to other squads so together we can achieve a seamless user experience.

This job is 100% remote and can be based in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.
Your Mission
Technical Leadership & Innovation: Mentor engineers in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and drive the adoption of innovative, cross-platform solutions in modern mobile development.
Architecture & Best Practices: Establish and maintain clean, maintainable coding standards, ensuring a consistent KMP architecture across squads, and align the technical roadmap with business goals.
Decision-Making & Collaboration: Oversee key decisions through structured RFCs and conduct code reviews to ensure consistent quality across teams.
Performance & Tooling: Define and track key performance metrics like crash-free rates and CI build times, and enhance release performance through improved processes, tools, and frameworks.
Knowledge Sharing: Lead and foster a culture of learning, guide the KMP Guild, inspire innovation, and facilitate knowledge exchange across teams.
Hands-On Contribution: Design and prototype solutions for complex challenges while balancing the act of leadership with the craft of writing high-quality production code.
Your Profile
Technical visionary: Passionate and experienced in Kotlin Multiplatform, you master KMP architecture and modern Kotlin practices to unify cross-platform development.
Technical leadership: Your leadership ethos centers around mentorship and guidance, having honed these skills through 5 years of software engineering experience that includes +3 years in a tech lead role.
Strategic thinker: Effectively align technical solutions with business objectives.
Collaborative spirit: Thrive in collaborative, remote-first environments with strong time management skills.
Communication skills: Proficient in English, with clear written and verbal communication.
Remote work proficiency: Comfortable and skilled in working in a fully remote environment, showing proficiency in managing priorities and time effectively in such an environment.
