The Military Engines Spares Analyst will be part of the Military Engines SIOP team. The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team within Pratt & Whitney is a rapidly growing organization established to drive customer demand and supply capacity strategies across the enterprise. Balancing demand and supply for Commercial Engines, Military Engines, Operations and Supply Chain network. Major functions of the IBP organization are Sales & Operations Planning, Materials Planning, Inventory, and Risk Management. 

This is a multi-faceted position in the F100/F119/F135/TF33/APU Military Spares Planning and Schedule Management group as an MRP controller. Our mission within the group is to ensure that Military Customer requirements are accurately reflected to the producer by interfacing with numerous groups at various levels of management within the IBP, ME & Ops organizations. This includes defining customer requirements; negotiating reschedule activities at the part detail level with manufacturing and purchasing operations to assure parts availability for contractual requirements.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for the schedule alignment of supply and demand of SM02 Military Engine demand plant as a MRP controller
  • Support Military program and Operation initiatives to reduce inventory, order alignment and customer support. 
  • SIOP background/knowledge in working with both Programs & Ops in establishing a Master Schedule that support Customer requirements as well as creates an executable plan for Ops.
  • Strong Material Management background as well as experience with Forecasting, Schedule alignment and Capacity planning.
  • Project Management- Ability and proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, special projects,ACE/CORE improvement initiatives.
  • Data Analysis – Strong ability to not only collect data but to be use this to develop plans and or solutions to complex problems and ability to then present this data to the associated organizations in a clear and concise manner.
  • These responsibilities require performance in a highly visible environment with a focus on ensuring on-time delivery to our customers.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 5 years of experience in Operations, Procurement/Supply Chain or related field
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Possess strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills with the ability to integrate, interpret, and act on conflicting or incomplete information. 
  • Strong SAP, Excel, and Access skills with a familiarity with ODM and APICs
  • Experience with Kinaxis
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
  • You must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and to respond to changes in customer demand and work scope priorities.
  • 2 years of experience using excel for analytical reporting

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD – 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
