Protocol Education is a dedicated and compassionate team committed to promoting positive mental health in schools across the North East. Join us in making a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and approachable individual with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND to join our team. This role offers short-term opportunities initially, with potential for long-term placement due to the high demand for SEND support in schools.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for students with SEND and SEMH
  • Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents
  • Manage behaviour and serve as a positive role model
  • Assist in student development, both personally and educationally

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience working in SEMH or SEND schools
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Clinical Background, Health and Social Care)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Passion for promoting mental health
  • Thorough understanding of SEND and SEMH

Teaching experience is desired but not essential.How to Apply:
