We require a Medical Secretary to join our busy team, providing a comprehensive administrative and secretarial support within the Acute Service.This is a busy but rewarding post in a fast based speciality with a high volume of patients. You will be responsible for booking theatre lists, audio typing, diary management, answering patient queries alongside other administrative and secretarial tasks.You should have proven secretarial and administrative experience and possess excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills.You should be a competent audio typist with a robust working knowledge of Microsoft packages. Working knowledge and understanding of NHS Waiting Times would be desirable.You will require to be a flexible individual and have the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager.
