Live – What you will do
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to join our national Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team, specializing in the Oncology therapeutic area with a focus on Lung and GI Cancer . You’ll be at the forefront of an exciting launch phase, working with a pioneering, first-in-class and novel, innovative products. Through both face-to-face and virtual engagements, you will drive scientific discussions and provide critical clinical insights. As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll build strong relationships with leading experts in the field and contribute to improving patient outcomes. This role is based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane and reports to the National MSL Lead.
Key Responsibilities:

Engage healthcare stakeholders through scientific exchange

Develop and maintain HCP stakeholder lists and scientific engagement plans

Participate in medical and brand teams to support ideation and development of patient- and HCP-centric strategies and programs

Support the creation of omnichannel HCP engagement plans

Provide field observations and insights to internal stakeholders

Support speaker training and ensure speakers are updated on new data

Support Amgen sponsored research and liaise with investigators in non-sponsored clinical research
Win – What we expect of you
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an MSL role is essential
-
Medical/scientific experience in Oncology is strongly preferred
-
Experience in solid tumours, thoracic, or gastroenterology areas preferred
-
Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DO) essential, or equivalent experience
-
Ability and willingness to travel inter-state as required
-
Strong understanding of the clinical and hospital environments within Australia’s healthcare system, particularly in Oncology
-
Experience in clinical study management/execution is a plus
-
Valid driver’s license, residency and permission to work in Australia is essential
