Medical Operations Associate (Part-Time 0.6FTE, Contract) in Sydney, AU, Australia

The Position

Reporting to the Medical Info & Operations Team Lead, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time (flexible days) 0.6FTE, contract (until May 2025) Medical Operations Associate to come and join our high performing team!

As the Medical Operations Associate you will be responsible for the local Medical Information service, including researching and responding to Medical Information enquiries; documentation within the global database and identifying and reporting potential Individual Case Safety reports and Technical Product Complaints.

Additionally, as required, you will also handle the local review of promotional and medical materials to ensure scientific accuracy, compliance with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct and ethical business practice.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the local Medical Information service, including researching and responding to Medical Information enquiries; documentation within the global database and identifying and reporting potential Individual Case Safety reports and Technical Product Complaints.

• Review enquiries and creates local Standard Responses on a regular basis, in collaboration with relevant colleagues.

• Reviews and localises global standard responses.

• Conducts quality review activities of responses as per global requirements.

• Ensures self-training regarding products and therapeutic areas.

• Reviews regulatory documents and promotional material for scientific correctness.

• Recognising, reporting, and documenting Adverse Events and other Pharmacovigilance-relevant information and Technical Product Complaints.

Requirements

• Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology or equivalent.

• Strong technical knowledge of pharmaceuticals.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• High standard of interpersonal skills, including the ability to support and collaborate with local colleagues and external customers.

• Strong planning and time management skills.

• Customer-focused approach.
