Media Director – Senior Manager

Embark on a transformative leadership journey as the Head of Media and Performance. You will be the vanguard of our media investment, aligning spend with audience strategy and growth objectives, communicating the vision and performance of our media across the firm, and growing the skills and talents of the Media team. We’re searching for a forward-thinker who can not only navigate today’s media landscape but also anticipate and adapt to its evolution over the next 24 months and beyond. You will be pivotal in future-proofing client media plans and ensuring our media approach is both resilient and agile in the face of changing consumer behaviors and market dynamics.

Work You’ll Do

  • Strategic Demand Shaping: Partner with our Advanced Analytics team to integrate media strategy with demand planning to accurately forecast and stimulate interest in our security solutions, working intra-functionally to design cohesive, omni-channel media campaigns that achieve desired outcomes.

  • Agency Management: Own agency partner management, delivering guidance and accountability to drive desired outcomes.

  • Team Leadership: Grow the strengths and skills of the Media team, working with your manager to create a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.

  • Messaging Alignment: Partner with our head of Comms Strategy to ensure media campaigns resonate across a variety of audiences and objectives.

  • Demand-Driven Campaigns: Develop and execute media strategies informed by demand signals and market analysis, ensuring our message aligns with consumer needs and business goals.

  • Continually refine our media approach to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.

  • Develop the plan that will deliver annual performance goals and communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly adjustments.

  • Measure and interpret how media strategies bolster consumer confidence, trust, and demand for our security solutions. This includes lead generation as well as brand preference metrics.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 12+ years of experience in digital and traditional media marketing.

  • Experience in lower funnel media optimization.

  • Experience in demand generation via audience identification, media messages, and placements.

  • Experience using DSP tools, Google Analytics, META, and other major media platforms.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Ability to travel 20 – 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • Ability to develop long-term strategies that anticipate future market trends and consumer behaviors.

  • Strong quantitative skills to analyze data, interpret metrics, and derive actionable insights for media optimization.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, clearly articulate complex performance data and media strategies to a variety of stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capacity to simultaneously manage multiple campaigns, testing programs, and media initiatives.

  • The creativity to solve challenging problems and the agility to adapt to new information or changing market conditions.

  • Familiarity with media planning software; ideally experience with data visualization tools.

This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $167,325 to $278,875.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
