We are hiring for a Media Director to join our growing team!
National Vision, Inc. is seeking a results-driven, strategic, and innovative Director of Media to lead our media strategy. This critical leadership role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive media plans across both traditional channels (TV, radio, print, out-of-home) as well as emerging media channels (paid search, paid social and affiliate), ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives. The Director of Media will manage a performance marketing manager, who oversees paid search, paid social media, and affiliate network strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media planning and buying, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across functions..
What Would You Do? The Specifics.
Develop and execute integrated media strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement.
Oversee media planning and buying across traditional channels, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives.
Partner with internal teams including marketing, merchandising, and creative to ensure cohesive and integrated campaigns.
Collaborate closely with digital and social media teams to ensure seamless cross-channel integration.
Manage media budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to maximize ROI.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and agency partners.
Negotiate and manage contracts with media partners, securing favorable terms and pricing.
Analyze media performance data and campaign results, providing actionable insights to optimize campaigns.
Present regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and recommendations to senior management.
Lead, mentor, and develop a manager of performance marketing, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Manage the Digital Marketing Manager, who oversees paid search, paid social media, and affiliate network strategies.
Evaluate needs of the media team to ensure full coverage for all media channels.
Provide guidance and professional development opportunities to ensure team growth and effectiveness.
Stay abreast of media industry trends, innovations, and best practices.
Identify and recommend new approaches to effectively reach and engage target audiences.
Work Experience
10+ years of experience in media planning and buying, with a proven track record of driving results and maximizing ROI. ((Required))
3+ years in a leadership role. ((Required))
Education
Four year college degree or equivalent experience. in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field. (Required)
Master’s Degree (Preferred)
