Job DescriptionMechanical Project ManagerLocation – Mid Cornwall – South WestSalary – £60,000 – £70,000k37.5 hour weekExcellent benefits including flexible working and medical insuranceAre you a Mechanical Works/Project Manager looking for a new role with an array of fantastic company benefits from a extremely reputable company in the construction sector? If so this could be the role for you.My client is a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out company who delivers projects across a range of sectors including health, education, highways, justice, defence, aviation, water and environment and they are looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. You will be required to manage the Company’s resources to achieve a successful outcome, Technically, Commercially, Safely and to the Client’s Satisfaction on the project.The role:-To manage the Mechanical Package in line with the project and manage the resources on the project on a day to day basis and to report any staff issues as appropriate.Manage project commercial issues and cost reporting whilst identifying the clients requirements and ensure they are delivered to the clients’ satisfaction.Representing the company on any internal or external issues.Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance.Communicate with the project team regularly on project specific matters and company initiatives.To manage procurement and achieve best value for Engineering Services.The requirements:-To have worked as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar for the last 5 yearsExperience of managing a project team to reach completion within budget and to programme.Ability to interpret the requirements of the specification. As well as managing procurement, labour and sub-contractors, controlling contract costs and variations.Experience of co-ordinating M&E Services installationsCompilation and presentation of Operating & Maintenance ManualsExperience of managing contract values ranging from £2m and aboveBTEC: HNC Building ServicesBTEC: ONC Building ServicesIOSH directing safely – desirable.CSCS card.SMSTS – desirableThis role comes with fantastic benefits such as:-Competitive salaryCar allowance26 days annual leave (with the opportunity to buy or sell up to 3 days holiday)3 additional long service days achieved after 3, 7 and 10 yearsPrivate medical insurance for yourself (with the option to buy family cover)Plus many many more.For more information on this role please email sstrippel@rgbrec.co.uk or call 07930998891
