This global automation solutions business in the Greater London area are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their thriving R&D team.The role of Mechanical Design Engineer is full lifecycle with typical duties including: Mechanical Design of new and existing products, concept design, detailed component design, complex assemblies, calculations, documentation, costings and taking your work through to manufacture. There will also be the opportunity to take the lead on certain projects.This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer wanting to gain experience working on cutting edge automated machinery. They are offering a great salary/benefits package, hybrid working, and long term progression.Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:

• HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 3D CAD – SolidWorks / Creo (or similar)
• GD&T
• Experience designing mechanisms / machinery (or similar)
• Drive / Motor experience (high beneficial)
