Reporting to the Operations Director, this is a GC facing role with overall responsibility for all quality related works (QAQC and project level 1 & 2 commissioning works. The project manager will oversee the Project Team and will be expected to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.Skills and Requirements:

• Academic and/or trades qualifications in mechanical discipline
• 10 years Mechanical QAQC experience in Industrial-type projects with minimum 5 years’ experience in a lead role
• Role will be General Contractor facing so good communication skills and presentation is essential.
• Ability to present specification requirements to the project team(s) and demonstrate compliance is essential.
• Industrial and process project experience preferable
• Knowledge and experience of piping and HVAC systems required
• Role will comprise of coordinating QAQC walkdowns related to quality control of completed systems and commissioning tagging walks, confirm all inspection and documentation associated with Equipment; HVAC ducting systems; Plumbing & drainage systems; Coordination of preparation of test packs; witnessing of pressure testing; Weekly reporting on QAQC performance; troubleshooting; managing walkdown schedules.
• The candidate will be required to work closely with the Project Manager and construction team to ensure quality standards are achieved with minimal snags.
