We are looking for a Marketing & Sales Executive for a prominent sailing club in Ireland, with a long history of more than a century. Dedicated to promoting sailing and fostering a vibrant community, the club is now looking for a Marketing, Sales & Communications Officer.This role focuses on developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive membership growth, enhance engagement, and promote the club’s offerings, including planning sailing events and managing communication strategies across social media and online platforms.What’s in it for you?Competitive salary | Prestigious company | Benefits | Hybrid workResponsibilities:

• Plan and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, social media, etc.) to promote Club events, courses, hospitality offerings, and membership perks.
• Create compelling and cohesive content, such as blog articles, social media posts, newsletters, and marketing collateral.
• Design and execute sales strategies to attract new members, retain current ones, and boost revenue.
• Establish partnerships with relevant businesses, sponsors, and organizations to enhance the Club’s visibility and offerings.
• Work closely with the events team to organize and deliver sailing events, open days, and promotional initiatives.
• Perform market research and analyze competitors to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
• Generate regular reports on marketing outcomes, offering insights and actionable recommendations for improvement, while tracking leads, memberships, and engagement metrics.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships.
• Formal education or training in digital marketing.
• Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, including content strategy development and engaging social media audiences.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Solid understanding of website and marketing analytics, with experience in HTML and WordPress.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities, ensuring effective event preparation and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced Club setting.
• A passion for the sea or sailing is an advantage, but not a requirement!
