Welthungerhilfe has been successfully fighting hunger and poverty for years. In order to achieve our mission of #ZeroHunger by 2030, we would like to expand our legacy fundraising. This is where you come in! As Marketing Manager – Legacies, you will have the unique opportunity to play a central role in this growing area. You will help us reorganise our legacy fundraising, tailor our communications to specific audiences and develop a strong network of supporters. Your contribution will directly fund our projects and help us achieve our vision.
Your responsibilities
- Recruitment and support of testators: You are the central point of contact for people who want to entrust Welthungerhilfe with their last will and testament. With empathy and expertise, you support and advise them individually and confidentially.
- Campaign management: You will plan, manage and coordinate campaigns to attract new interested parties. You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers.
- Designing the supporter journey: You develop and optimize the supporter journey of our supporters through targeted touchpoints and ensure sustainable and binding support.
- Organisation of information events: You plan and organize events for (potential) testators to inform them about our offer and recruit them as supporters.
- CRM and data management: You will maintain data management and continuously optimize all CRM processes (e.g. in SalesForce) to strengthen the relationship with our supporters.
Your profile
- A university or college degree or comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in marketing, sales (key account management) or fundraising, ideally in foundation/s or NGO/s
- Strong communication skills and empathy: You love to communicate with people in a trusting manner and understand how to respond to their needs
- Team player with initiative: You work independently and are still a strong team player
- Analytical and organisational skills: You have a talent for analyzing data and can manage complex processes efficiently
- Experience with CRM and data management tools (e.g. SalesForce) is an advantage
- Excellent spoken and written German as well as very good English language skills
