Join us and be part of a team where your contributions drive meaningful change and where you have the opportunity to grow with us.Aim of the Role The Marketing Director and Head of Bid Management is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and initiatives, and overseeing and managing the end-to-end bid process for Redcentric PLC. This role aims to drive brand awareness, lead generation, customer engagement, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, competitive proposals that meet customer requirements and support the company’s growth objectives. The role also focuses on continuous improvement towards winning a higher percentage of bids and working with content contributors in marketing and technical departments to execute this to an exceptional standard.Key Objectives

  • Increase brand awareness and market visibility for Redcentric PLC.
  • Generate high-quality leads and support sales in achieving revenue targets.
  • Drive customer engagement and retention through impactful marketing campaigns.
  • Optimize marketing ROI and efficiency through data-driven decision-making.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the marketing and bid teams, promoting innovation and collaboration.
  • Improve the bid win rate and ensure high-quality proposal submissions.

Key Responsibilities Marketing:

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and growth targets within an agreed budget.
  • Drive the brand awareness of Redcentric in relevant marketplaces within the UK and internationally
  • Develop and grow partner alliances to enhance marketing activity and budget.
  • Present lead generation programs and ROI analysis, focusing on resource and budget optimization.
  • Align marketing activities with sales objectives and targets to ensure a joint approach and drive better results.
  • Drive lead generation efforts through strategic marketing campaigns and effective use of marketing automation tools.

Bid Management:

  • Oversee bid strategy development and end-to-end bid process management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the bid management process, aiming to increase the win rate of bids.
  • Collaborate with content contributors in marketing and technical departments to produce high-quality proposals.
  • Ensure high-quality, competitive proposals that meet customer requirements and support the company’s growth objectives.

Person Specification Ideal Candidate Attributes:

  • Extensive experience in senior marketing roles, preferably within the technology or managed services industry.
  • Strong experience in bid management or bid leadership, with a focus on continuous improvement and high-quality proposal submissions.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

Work Hours Standard hours of work are 9.00 am – 5.30 pm (3.30 pm on Fridays), with one hour for lunch. Flexibility may be required due to the nature of the role.
