Role Purpose

You will be responsible for supporting the rollout of the Marketing program including national campaigns and local initiatives, developing marketing material (for new product releases, segment and sales initiatives, trade shows, learning & technical etc.), maintaining website content, liaising with advertising partners and associations to organise advertising, and coordinating the development of print and digital advertising assets. Using available data from all customer touch points, you’ll assist the Manager in analysing key insight to develop the marketing strategy and support initiatives with integrated marketing communications.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Marketing Coordinator is required to undertake the following duties:

  • Maintain website content and updates including product information and related assets, promotional content, news articles and brochures with SEO top-of-mind

  • Support the development and finalisation of customer communication including brochures, flyers, digital presenters, merchant collateral and TV display content, invitations, eDMs and display equipment and media

  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with key internal and external stakeholders to support the effectiveness of the Marketing function

  • Develop strategic content plans for targeted audiences before publishing then tracking and optimising daily, responding to posts and enquiries, on the various digital and social media platforms

  • Support new product launches, trade shows, segment campaigns, advertising partners and affiliation with all the above

  • Contribute to the development of the annual Marketing plan and communication amplification mapping to strategically approach all of the above

  • Undertake data collection, analysis and reporting, and assist with the preparation of monthly reporting for Senior Management team

  • Research and share competitor and market activity to support the brands in remaining competitive

  • Data analysis – producing insights from web analytics platforms that will guide and enhance digital strategies

  • Measuring and reporting on results for all digital marketing campaigns

  • Research and analyse competitors’ and general market activities to help us stay way out in front

  • Daily analysis of all digital properties to ensure ongoing optimisation across all marketing channels

  • Link building and on page optimisation

  • Assist with preparation of monthly reporting for Senior Management team

  • Implementation and optimisation of advertising campaigns

  • Reporting accurate and data/analytics every month

  • Suggesting and testing different strategies and tactics every quarter

    Qualification

  • Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in a Marketing assistant, coordinator or executive role, ideally B2B

  • Experience with at least 3-5 platforms across CMS, digital advertising, and reporting

  • Proficient with MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications and/or Public Relations or similar disciplines advantageous.

    Experience

  • Experience executing integrated campaigns with excellent communication, project coordination and time management skills in a fast paced marketing team

  • Well-developed copywriting skills for internal, trade and consumer communication

  • Experience working to KPIs, deadlines and budgets with ability to support post-activity analysis and reporting

  • Experience using digital CMS, advertising, creative and reporting tools like WordPress, Mail Chimp, Sales Force, Linked In Campaign Manager, Google AdWords, Google My Business, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Sales Force Pardot and Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Video and render creation and editing capabilities desirable

  • Comfortable collaborating in a team environment or working autonomously and taking the initiative to make sure things get done

  • Exceptional presentation, attitude, work-ethic, integrity and proactive approach in day-to-day corporate dealings

  • An outgoing personality with well-developed interpersonal skills

  • A history of business or commercial experience within building or plumbing supplies, or in the Healthcare, Aged Care, Corrections, Industrial Workplace Safety, Water Metering, Education, Commercial sector is advantageous.
