Position: Marketing and Visibility Campaign Development Expert

Duration of Technical Assistance: 4 months
A Marketing and Visibility Campaign Development Expert is required to implement campaigns aimed at promoting products and services generated in rural areas of Luxor and Aswan, as well as increasing the visibility of underutilized tourist attractions in the region. These campaigns will use both digital and oGline channels and will focus on integrating rural products and underexploited sites into the tourism sector’s value chains, with the objective of improving their visibility and positioning at both local and international levels.
Objectives of the Technical Assistance:
1. Develop and execute marketing and visibility campaigns for 7 underutilized products and services in rural areas of Luxor and Aswan.
2. Design and implement visibility campaigns for 6 underutilized tourist attractions, in coordination with local and international tourism agencies.
3. Create visual content (videos, photographs, posts) for the campaigns, highlighting the added value and story of the products and tourist sites.
4. Manage social media and other communication channels to ensure effective dissemination of the campaigns.
5. Ensure proper coordination of the campaigns with tourism agencies and other key stakeholders to maximize impact and visibility.
Main activities:
1. Design and execution of marketing and visibility campaigns.
2. Development of communication, marketing materials, and audiovisual content.
3. Dissemination of the campaigns across online platforms and online channels, particularly on social media.
4. Promotion of networks and strategic alliances.
5. Continuous monitoring and support.
Expected results:
1. Selection and initial diagnosis of 7 products/services and 6 underutilized tourist destinations to be promoted through the campaigns.
2. Design and implementation of campaigns aimed at increasing the visibility of the selected products/services and tourist attractions.
3. Monitoring of results and recommendations.
Deliverables:
1. Initial diagnosis report on the status of marketing strategies and visibility of selected products, services, and underutilized tourist attractions.
2. Execution plan for 7 marketing campaigns and 6 visibility campaigns, with objectives and timeline.
3. Communication materials and visual content (videos, photos) for the campaigns.
4. Campaign impact follow-up report.
5. Final report with results and recommendations for sustainability and growth of visibility.
Marketing Expert Requirements:
1. Academic Background:
o University degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, or related disciplines. A postgraduate degree in marketing-related areas will be valued.
2. Professional Experience:
o At least 5 years of experience in marketing and campaign management, especially in visual content creation and visibility campaigns.
o Experience managing social media and digital/oGline marketing strategies.
o Experience working in communication related to the tourism sector.
3. Technical Knowledge:
o Knowledge of marketing strategies and digital tools.
o Ability to develop eGective promotional materials and marketing tools.
4. Languages:
o Fluency in English and Arabic is essential. Knowledge of Spanish will be considered an added value.
5. Competences and Skills:
o Project planning and management skills.
o Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
o Ability to work both in teams and independently, with a results-oriented approach.
