You will be part of the team that designs and implements Morrisons pricing strategy. Working closely with the commercial teams, you will build price policies, manage competitiveness, create actionable insights, and develop better pricing tools. The role sits at the heart of Morrisons, and it is instrumental in delivering value for customers and our business.This position follows a hybrid model with a 4.5 day working week*.Our teams work from our vibrant head office in Bradford for three days and remotely for a day and a half, Monday to Friday.Hilmore House, our head office, offers convenient amenities, including a subsidised on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, a prayer room, free parking, and frequent company wide events and promotions.Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance of our office.Building pricing dashboards and run regular reporting to support decision makingConduct ad hoc analysis utilising pricing and promotional data, sales / volume and customer behaviour data, market data and customer perceptionsEnsure data accuracy and integrity in pricing databases and systemsIdentifying opportunities for improvements in current processes and ways of workingWork closely with commercial, marketing, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies support overall business goalsListening to customers feedback to help shape the planAbout YouWe’ve built an incredibly diverse business, and we’re working hard to make sure we truly represent the communities we serve.One of the best things about working with so many different people is having the opportunity to listen, learn and connect with lots of different views, perspectives and beliefs. For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:Good analytical skills, with experience in packages such as; Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Looker and Google Big QueryStrong written and verbal communication and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levelsExcellent problem solving and analytical skills, translating complex issues into clear and actionable frameworks and insightsExperience working with large data sets and building business cases (Excel, Powerpoint skills)Experience working with senior stakeholders and presenting recommendationsTake initiative and bring new ideas to the tableAbout The TeamAbout Us Description:Marketing is a fast-paced, high energy function that drives sales by putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
