- Responsible for converting the Engineering design intent into manufacturing engineering data for manufacturing operations use
- Responsible for identifying own development opportunities
- Contribute to the management of the quality and SHE systems, for manufacturing Engineering Processes and documentations for example calling up safe methods of working
- Build effective internal and cross functional relationships in order to achieve overall project requirements
- Support justifications / business cases that seek to improve business performance, and thus provide optimised return on capital investment
- Agree and prioritize with the customer, emergent work affecting manufacture, fabrication or construction. In doing so managing allocated projects & sub contracts overseeing the end to end process
Your skills and experiences:Essential:
- Knowledge of Rector Systems and strong background in Nuclear industry
- Demonstrable knowledge and technical manufacturing background
- Understanding of Engineering Design Lifecycle
Desirable:
- Mechanical HNC Level Qualification

This role will be part of a newly established team, offering a significant opportunity to take ownership of projects and drive meaningful changes in reactor construction processes. You will have opportunities for technical development, enhancement of communication skills and building professional network across the wider Submarine organization. Continued education is both supported and encouraged.
