We currently have a vacancy for a Manual tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.Your tasks

  • Perform quality assurance and quality control activities;
  • Perform and report on Functional and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT);
  • Work in close collaboration with Service Desk and Technical support team for assessing the severity of the issues reported by users of the system, reproduce them in test environments, propose and follow-up implementation of workarounds and/or permanent fix solutions;
  • Execute different types of functional security and confidentiality breaching tests such as access control, permissions matrix and visibility of private information verifications;
  • Contribute to the automated testing effort and other technical tasks in order to prepare and develop sets of test cases and scenarios suitable for automation.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience;
  • At least 5 years of experience in the IT field;
  • At least 3 years of experience in Information systems testing;
  • Excellent knowledge of information systems quality assurance including defining test cases, testing, defining user story acceptance criteria;
  • Excellent knowledge of testing lifecycle;
  • Good knowledge of business analysis;
  • Good knowledge of Agile development methodologies (such as SCRUM, Kanban…);
  • Good knowledge of data exchange formats (XML, Json) ;
  • Good knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright…) ;
  • Knowledge of webservices (REST) ;
  • Knowledge of tracking tools (JIRA) ;
  • Ability to define test case scenarios and perform functional tests;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
