Manual QA Engineer – €45k-€50kCork, Ireland – HybridAs part of a scrum team made up of product owner, scrum master, software engineers and quality engineers, you will contribute to the QA strategy to enable rapid delivery of new features.Job Responsibilities:Review requirements and develop test cases.Assist in building functional and regression test suites.Analyse test outcomes, document test activities, and monitor defects.Develop test automation using UI and API-based frameworks.Perform manual API testing with Postman.Conduct manual UI testing.Clearly report and communicate test progress.Prioritize tasks and manage expectations when handling multiple demanding tasks.Collaborate within a Scrum team in an Agile development environment.Participate in all Scrum activities.Required Skills, Capabilities, and Qualifications:Strong foundation in QA, with knowledge of various testing types and practices.Experience with Linux environments.Proficiency in testing REST APIs.Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes.Comprehensive understanding of all testing phases.Expertise in creating test automation using UI and API-based frameworks.Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins.Bachelor’s degree in Software Development or a related field.Ability to work independently within a team setting.ISTQB Certification.Nice to Have Skills:Experience with relational database systems.Knowledge of the gambling/betting and online gaming industry.
