If that means this job isn’t a match for you please view our other vacancies for one that may be a better fit.To be considered for this post you will be an operationally focused HR generalist with a successful track record as an HR professional with experience of developing and delivering people strategies, especially in a multi-cultural background.You will possess a sound grasp of employment law and demonstrate a rigorous approach to people management, covering all aspects of recruitment and selection, performance management, learning and development, reward, employee engagement and payroll management.What You’ll be Doing:

  • Implement and maintain the policies and procedures that reflect best practice and that are compliant with employment legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver support to hiring managers and key stakeholders to ensure their understanding of the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Lead recruitment and candidate selection activities to ensure that the Bank is able to attract and appoint candidates of an appropriate calibre through comprehensive assignment briefs to agencies, communication with candidates during recruitment and at offer stage
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of an induction programme that will ensure new hires receive the information they require to quickly integrate into the Bank and be aware of their responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to promote the engagement of employees in order to achieve high level business performance including development of the Bank’s corporate culture, performance management and communications, and to manage conflict, discipline and grievance resolution
  • Develop an annual learning and development plan and work with business areas to identify the learning and development activities required to meet business and personal objectives
  • Manage remuneration and benefits to ensure that the Bank is able to attract and retain its employees
  • Manage relationships with benefits suppliers
  • Manage relationship with employees
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of the monthly payroll process
  • Ensure that all expatriate assignments are managed in line with the Head Office policy and in compliance with Home Office requirements.
  • Provide Provision of an efficient service for centralized internal administration matters and co-ordination of external relations
  • Manage relationship with the Bank’s appointed facilities management provider to make sure that agreed standards of performance are met

The Skills You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
  • HR operations experience preferably in banking or financial institutions
  • Experience in employee relations is highly preferred
  • Holding a degree of Human Resources Management or equivalent as an advantage
  • Holding a CIPD qualification or qualified by experience as an advantage
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment
  • Skilled user of MS Office
  • Knowledge of SMFs and relevant training required
