Primary Purpose

NICE, the market leader in cloud-based contact center technology, is looking for an experienced Solution Engineering Manager to lead an international team of our CXone Solutions. The Manager will lead a multiple-geographies team (EMEA and APAC) which works consultatively with prospects to identify their goals and business drivers, and creatively design solutions that will meet the ever-growing demands of their contact center needs. The Manager would be responsible to build and maintain deep technical and product knowledge of our CXone solutions, as well as drive our pre-sales partners enablement activities internationally to support our significant growth of our CXone business.

Major Functions/Responsibility

  • ​Lead, manage, and coach international team of pre-sales experts across EMEA & APAC, ensure alignment with company strategy and regional GTM activities.
  • Work closely with portfolio pre-sales, sales, marketing, product house, partners, and regional leadership
  • Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders in various roles and locations including Product Management, Services, Supports, biz-ops and R&D. Drive on-going discussions with CXone Product House on required features, roadmaps, customer engagements and more.
  • Oversee our Pre-Sales Partner Enablement strategy, events and activities for CXone suite solutions across the international region including working with existing and on-boarding new partners; Manage partner enablement pre-sales experts
  • Assist our Sales team through preparation and delivery of business discussions, technical presentations, and product demonstrations, by carefully mapping customer business requirements to effective value driven technical solutions leveraging the NICE software portfolio
  • Assist in the preparation and response to RFPs and carefully qualifying and supporting deals for technical and product aspects
  • Manage Enterprise Architects experts responsible for architecture, security, connectivity, integrations, infosec, etc.​
  • Continuously build and maintain relationships with key and executive stakeholders in major sales cycle, including executive, financial, technical decision makers and influencers within our prospects.

Required Education, Experience, and Specific Job Related Skills

Education Requirement:

​Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Communications or related field or equivalent work experience required.

Experience Requirement:

  • Broad knowledge of and experience in call center technologies, automatic call distributors (ACD) and interactive voice response (IVR) systems, and CCaaS suites.
  • Broad knowledge of IP telephony, SIP trunk, WebRTC.
  • Broad knowledge of workforce optimization and analytics practices and technologies.
  • Broad knowledge of digital self-service, messaging and social media platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen to quickly assess the situation and then convey thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong presentation skills – must possess the ability to sell and effectively build credibility in front of all levels of management, including an executive audience.

Experience Preferred:

  • ​5+ years of managing large global pre-sales team in a software company.

· Experience in Digital solutions teams is advantage.

· Experience in presenting and working with executives (internally and externally).

· Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative international dynamics.

  • Proven record of managing global pre-sales team in a challenging and global environment while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
