Position Overview: Sales Effectiveness Manager (Training, Design & Delivery)
We are seeking a highly motivated, and experienced Sales Excellence professional to join the International Sales Excellence Team
The Sales Effectiveness Manager (SEM) supports the Senior Manager, Sales Excellence in processes essential to sales force productivity and part of the International Marketing and Sales Excellence Team
These include designing, implementing, monitoring programs to improve skills and coaching including planning, performance reporting, sales process implementation and optimization, sales training, planning and execution of sales meetings
The SEM is responsible for driving the overall quality of the design and implementation of the sales excellence projects to the commercial organization.
Reporting to the Snr Man Sales Excellence,
Responsibilities
- Training and Support
o Develops and Delivers Training Programs to educate commercial users, new and existing on the selling and clinical processes, minimum expected business standards and to develop individual’s commercial competencies
o Create engaging and effective training materials, including e-learning modules, video tutorials, presentations, and interactive workshops.
o Conduct engaging training sessions for ongoing training of regional training leads
o Creates and maintains user documentation and resources within appropriate channels
- Collaboration and Communication
o Works closely with all learning and training personnel to ensure training programs align to business objectives and meet the expected standards
o Owns cross functional internal communication channels to drive awareness and engagement with Int M&SE
o Fosters a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
o Acts as a liaison between sales, marketing and other cross functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration to sales methodologies
- Analytics and Reporting
o Monitors and analyses competency level, behaviour and adoption. Identifying and sharing best practise and areas of improvement
o Proactively identifies opportunities for sales skills and competencies improvement.
o Trains the regional leads to empower International commercial function training, ensuring standards are exceeded
Key Decision Rights
- Reports to the Senior Manager Sales Excellence
- Plays a key role in planning, designing and training Sales Excellence program for the International Sales Meetings
- Accountable for the thorough implementation of sales organisation-impacting initiatives
Required Leadership/Interpersonal Skills & Behaviors
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with focus on coaching and developing sales team talent
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives at once
Required Skills and Competencies
- Experience with Instructional Design and Adult Learning Principles
- Strong presentations and facilitation skills
- High level of PC proficiency (Excel, Power BI etc.)
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret information to generate insights to inform strategy
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices
- Competent in the use of Salesforce Lightening or other CRM and sales enablement tools
- Results oriented mindset and a passion for helping others succeed
Education and Experience
- Four-year university/college degree from an accredited institution
- Proven track record of success in sales, training or marketing with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Demonstrable sales, marketing or sales management experience in a MedTech, pharmaceutical or business-to-business sales environment preferred
- Sales Excellence, Sales Management and/or Sales Training Experience strongly preferred
Additional Information
- The position can be remote, hybrid or in-person at our main European locations.
- Travel is estimated at 25% but will flex depending on business needs
NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired). #LI-Remote
