The Manager Periop Business role uses advanced knowledge, skills and abilities to establish an environment of collaborative, integrated, quality care delivery for surgical patients. This position is responsible for overseeing the scheduling, billing and information systems of Perioperative Services. This position is responsible for planning organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating personnel, material and fiscal resources to ensure accurate billings, scheduling, statistical/financial analysis and reporting for Perioperative Services at the University of Minnesota Medical Center – East and West Bank campuses. This individual participates with organizational and departmental leadership to develop, implement and evaluate strategic and operational plans that are aligned with organizational strategies and initiatives. Additionally, this individual manages business operations, establishes meaningful communication systems, and assures compliance with all requirements.
This role is also focused on supporting a collaborative, integrated and quality service program for all surgical patients throughout the Fairview System. This position partners with site leaders to develop and implement system programs and service changes to support an integrated, efficient, effective perioperative services domain.
