What YOU Will Do:

  • Conduct self-assessment audits to ensure compliance with published procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements, while also performing site/system-level risk assessments to identify areas of concern or systemic weaknesses
  • Develop biennial/triennial evaluation calendars for all Collins sites, ensuring that all 22 elements are assessed within designated timeframes
  • Coordinate all aspects of compliance analysis by collaborating with appropriate department personnel and ensuring responsible functions understand their roles in corrective action plans
  • Address deficiencies noted during self-assessments by informing supervisors of findings and recommending solutions as needed
  • Reevaluate inadequate elements and confirm that Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) effectively address root causes
  • Conduct detailed reviews of specific government property elements and resolve complex systems issues by analyzing current practices for deficiencies and determining potential corrective actions
  • Develop strategies, testing, and analysis methods for complex problems with limited management guidance, creating practical and economical solutions for high-complexity property issues
  • Prepare presentations for internal and external peers and customers, demonstrating independence in establishing property requirements from regulations
  • Adapt and refine the self-assessment process to validate system effectiveness, identifying property issues and implementing straightforward, practical solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant disciplines, industry practices, and regulatory changes while ensuring a safe work environment and the confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
  • Ability to support business travel, 50%

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prefer knowledge of DCMA PIEE
  • Prefer Certification in National Property Management Association (NPMA)
  • Prefer Experience in a Defense Contracting environment
  • Prefer knowledge with FAR and DFARS requirements

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD – 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
