A dynamic Professional Services Consultancy are looking for a permanent Management Accountant for their team based in Central London. A dynamic Professional Services Consultancy are looking for a permanent Management Accountant for their team based in Central London. As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Finance with the monthly reporting as well as actively contributing towards planning and strategic growth plans.We are looking for a highly motivated candidate, with the gravitas to work independently whilst adhering to important deadlines. This position will play a pivotal role within the Finance function so we are looking for someone who is driven by results with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.This role is offered on a hybrid basis, and would ideally like the successful candidate in the office 2 days per week.Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, and annual financial reports including presenting financial information to both finance and non finance professionals
• Responsible for the month end close including posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements.
• Conduct regular analysis including providing insights and recommendations to the Head of department.
• Collections management including sending reminders for overdue payments, and implementing strategies for collecting payments.
• Utilise financial systems and tools effectively to

streamline processes and improve accuracy in financial reporting and
analysis Key skills:

• Ideally Part qualified ACCA/CIMA
• A background in Finance including experience with the month end close process
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS standards is desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organised and ability to manage own workload
• IT proficient – an understanding of Xero would be a bonus

Expected salary

£35000 – 40000 per year
