Job Role: Maintenance Engineer – Permanent NightsLocation: Corby, NorthamptonshireSalary: £54,000-£56,000 + Overtime Available Paid time ¼Hours: Days Only 17.30-05.30 (Panama Shift 2-2-3)Job Type: Full time, PermanentThe client:A well-established & expanding clean food manufacturer based in Corby. Due to substantial growth and continuous profit growth throughout 2024, we are now looking to welcome an additional two engineers to the team on a full time permanent basis for a permanent Night Shift. Operating a Panama day shift, working 6 months out of 12.The package:

Duties:

• Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on production machinery
• Conducting planned and preventative maintenance
• Following health and safety policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant
• Carrying out repairs on Conveyors & automated machinery in a timely manner.
• Ensuring Tool & Storage Room is organised & has an up to date inventory list
• Ensuring a clean & organised work space to maintain a healthy working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a maintenance engineer in a FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Automated environment.
• Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Fault Finding, Repair and Maintenance experience (Relays, Sensors, Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyors, Pneumatic systems)
• Knowledge/Experience of electrical systems (PLC’s, Control Panels and testing) is advantageous
• Ability to work alone & as part of a team
• Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds 1-3, NVQ 1-3, 17th or 18th Wiring Regulations)
• Willing to learn and collaborate with engineers to share knowledge
