Up to £40,000 PA – Based in LythamRole Overview:Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Logistics Manager is responsible for developing and executing the warehouse and logistics strategy in line with company plans. The role involves coordinating and managing all levels of warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving and dispatching of goods.What You’ll Be Doing:
Warehousing: Develop and implement warehouse strategy, supervise space utilisation, manage staff, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Logistics: Introduce KPIs, review and enhance logistics processes, oversee all incoming and outgoing goods, and ensure regulatory compliance for international shipments.
Recycling: Supervise waste management and maintain site cleanliness.
General Duties: Conduct appraisals, mentor and develop staff, foster teamwork, and maintain a clean warehouse environment.
Occasional Duties: Participate in meetings, foster integration between operations and other sectors, and perform additional tasks as requested.

Direct Logistics Management: Proven experience in developing and executing logistics strategies, supervising warehouse operations, and enhancing efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience: Ability to lead in adversity, good interpersonal skills, strong IT knowledge, self-motivator, able to multitask, hard-working, numerate, enthusiastic, loyal, empathetic, and a team player.
