Overview
This role is responsible for managing inventory integrity to achieve service level targets whilst ensuring the timely delivery of products to our customers
Responsibilities
Manage stock validations, returned goods management, reporting and analysis, short, dated goods management, expired, excess and obsolete management and reporting, stock write off management, stock adjustments
Work with commercial team, customer services and 3PLs to ensure seamless coordination of customer order dispatch with accuracy and timeliness.
Provide resolution for all customer issues, build and maintain relationships with all customers, both internal and external. i.e. sales management, product management, customer service
Assistance with the delivery and training requirements for logistical infrastructure to aid in automation of inventory management, update training materials and train all relevant stakeholders in these processes, including training the staff on the correct use of system on a regular basis.
Monitor freight costs working with customer services and 3PL services and identifying cost-savings opportunities whilst maintaining quality compliance.
Monitor and process all inventory control reconciliations (e.g. cycle counts)
Manage and maintain professional relationship with any 3rd party distributor and/or freight/customs agent and manage the stock levels through this relationship.
Supplier invoice reconciliation
Continuously improve inventory management systems to streamline procedures and reduce operating costs. Monthly reporting to management on key focus areas within inventory and warehousing.
Maintain relevant, accurate and accessible records of all activities.
You may be required to work outside of your ordinary hours of work to participate in essential training and team meetings.
Quality, Safety and Environmental
Attend regular departmental meetings with relevant manager/supervisor to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.
Meet the requirements of ISO by complying with all relevant Quality policies and procedures to ensure the Quality objectives of the business are met.
Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimising accidental exposures to self, colleagues and/or the environment.
Ensure any PPE provided by the Abbott is worn.
Report any accidents or incidents within 24 hours through Donesafe and notify your manager.
Conduct
Ensure all activities carried out by self and others are in accordance with legislative employment policies, health & safety requirements and global policy.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
Previous experience in a Logistics role
Desirable
Prior experience in the Healthcare/Medical Device industry would be highly regarded
Competencies and Attributes
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proven team player
Computer literacy with MS Office programs preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Strong problem-solving skills to identify solutions, improvements and optimize processes.
